When you shop with us through our website  https://www.3Scents.com or via WhatsApp (together, the “3Scents Online Shop”), these Terms and Conditions, along with any guidelines or updates we may share from time to time (collectively, the “Conditions”), apply to your use of our services. Please take a moment to read them before browsing or making a purchase. We may update the Conditions occasionally, so we encourage you to check back for the latest version.

For Young Users: If you are under 18 years old, please make sure you have the consent and supervision of your parents or legal guardians before using the 3Scents Online Shop.  Parents or guardians acting on behalf of Young Users agree to these Conditions and especially on sections relating to Guidance for Young Users.

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, or placing an order on the 3Scents Online Shop, you confirm that you (or your parents/legal guardians if you are a Young User) have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Conditions, as updated from time to time.

1.1 About Your Account

We’re will be introducing 3Scents Online Shop Account.  The following sets out the terms and conditions for using it.

1.2 Why Register

  • To enjoy the full benefits of being a valued 3Scents customer, you’ll need to register and log in to your Online Shop Account.
  • Orders placed as a guest will not accumulate benefits or rewards.

1.3 Personal Use Only

  • Your account is for personal use only and cannot be transferred, shared, or merged with other accounts.
  • Lending your account to others or using it for any unacceptable behaviours is not allowed.
  • You are responsible for all activities carried out under your account, and 3Scents will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from misuse.

1.4 Account Status

  • Once registered, your account will remain active unless it is disabled, suspended, or terminated under these Conditions.
  • For details on account termination, please see paragraph below on Account Termination.

2.       3Scents Online Shop Account - Registration

2.1 One Account Per Person

  • Each person may register one 3Scents Online Shop Account only.
  • Creating or holding multiple accounts improperly or in bad faith is an unacceptable behaviour.

2.2 Information Required

  • To register, please provide the information requested on our registration page:  https://www.3Scents.com.
  • Some details are mandatory so we can set up your account properly.
  • All information you provide must be authentic, accurate, and complete.
  • Please keep your details up to date by editing your profile whenever necessary.
  • For how we collect and use your personal data, see below on Privacy Policy.

2.3 Mobile Number & Email

  • A valid mobile phone number (Hong Kong or other supported regions) and email address are required to create your account.
  • Your mobile number must be able to send and receive SMS or WhatsApp messages for authentication.
  • You are responsible for any fees charged by your mobile service provider.
  • We are not liable if you fail to receive notices or communications.

3.       3Scents Online Shop Account – Maintenance

3.1 Your Account Security

  • You are responsible for keeping your 3Scents Online Shop / WhatsApp Membership account safe.
  • Please do not share your login details or allow others to use your account.
  • Your account must not be used for any Unacceptable behaviours. You are fully responsible for all activities carried out under your account.

3.2 Accurate Information

  • To ensure smooth service, please keep your account details authentic, accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Misleading or outdated information may affect your membership benefits.

3.3 Earning & Crediting Points

  • Benefits or rewards will be credited to your account within 14 business days (unless otherwise specified) after eligible purchases or activities are completed.
  • If your account is terminated or suspended before points are added, no compensation will be provided.

3.4 Transactions Not Eligible for Points

You will not earn benefit or reward for:

  • Deposit payments
  • Purchase of 3Scents coupons
  • Ancillary charges (e.g., delivery, assembly, labour, gift wrapping)
  • Refunded products

3.5 Returns, Cancellations & Deductions

  • Cancelled transactions, returns, or refunds will result in the automatic deduction of benefit or reward previously awarded, including promotional points.
  • We reserve the right to invalidate benefits or rewards at our discretion.
  • Updates to your benefit or reward balance will be processed within 14 business days after the relevant transaction.

6. Order

6.1 Placing an Order

  • To shop at the 3Scents Online Shop, simply add your chosen products to the shopping cart.
  • Please note: items in your cart are not reserved until your order is submitted and confirmed.
  • Each order you place is treated as an offer to purchase.
  • A contract of sale is only formed once we accept and confirm your order (see below: Order Acknowledgment and Confirmation).

6.2 End Consumer Use Only

  • Products sold through the 3Scents Online Shop are intended for personal use by end consumers.
  • Purchasing for resale, commercial, or profit‑making purposes is not permitted.

6.3 Changes & Cancellations

  • Once an order has been despatched, it cannot be cancelled or changed.

7. Order Acknowledgment & Confirmation

7.1 Checkout

  • At checkout, please provide the required details (mobile number, payment method, billing and shipping address, etc.).
  • Once you click “Pay Now”, payment must be made using a single payment method for the entire cart.
  • For more information on pricing and payment, see paragraphs below on Price and Payment.

7.2 Order Acknowledgment

  • After we receive your order request, an Order Acknowledgment will be sent to you via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
  • This acknowledgment serves only to confirm that your request has been received.  It does not constitute acceptance of your order.

7.3 Out‑of‑Stock or Changes

  • If any product is out of stock, unavailable or if its price, quantity, or delivery method changes after payment is made, 3Scents will notify you.  In such cases, a credit will be issued to your account for the amount paid.  Cash refunds are only possible if the transaction costs are deducted.
  • The rest of your order will continue to be processed.

7.4 Order Confirmation & Invoice

  • Your order is treated as a purchase request until we issue an Order Confirmation.
  • The sales contract is formed when we send a confirmation notice or invoice to your email or SMS/WhatsApp or once the order leaves our warehouse for delivery or store pickup.

7.5 When Orders May Be Refused

We may refuse all or part of an order if:

  • (a) Suspicious or fraudulent activity is detected on your account or order
  • (b) Quantity limits are exceeded
  • (c) Products are out of stock or recalled
  • (d) A Force Majeure Event occurs
  • (e) Laws, regulations, or authority notices prevent supply
  • (f) The order appears to be for resale, commercial, or profit‑making purposes

7.6 Cancellations

  • If we cancel or refuse all or part of your order, we will notify you by email and arrange the relevant amount to be credited to your account.
  • Any 3Scents benefits or rewards earned from that order will be deducted.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders at our discretion, without liability.

7.7 Disputes

  • If you believe your order was refused in error, please contact our Customer Service team at info@3Scents.com.

 

8.       Risks and Title

8.1 Ownership of Products

Ownership (“title”) of the products listed in your Invoice remains with 3Scents until:

  • We have received full payment for the invoice and any applicable fees/charges, or
  • We have issued the Order Confirmation,

…whichever happens later.

8.2 Transfer of Risk

  • The responsibility (“risk”) for the products passes to you once:

·        (i) You collect the products from our physical store, or

·        (ii) Our delivery partner collects the products from our warehouse or store for delivery.

 

Price and Payment

9.       Price

 9.1 Currency

  • Unless otherwise stated, all prices and charges shown on the 3Scents Online Shop are in Hong Kong Dollars (HK$).

9.2 Price Differences

  • Prices and promotions offered through the 3Scents Online Shop may differ from the those available in our physical stores.
  • 3Scents is under no obligation to match prices or offers across channels, and no refunds or adjustments will be provided in respect of such differences.
  • Corporate Customers may not be eligible for certain online prices, products, or promotional offers.

9.3 Accuracy of Pricing

  • We make every effort to ensure that prices displayed on the Online Shop are accurate and current.
  • However, prices may be adjusted after an order is placed but before Order Confirmation is issued.
  • The price shown at checkout is the final amount payable, regardless of subsequent promotion or changes.
  • 3Scents reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of pricing errors or other circumstances requiring correction.

9.4 Additional Charges

  • Delivery fees, service charges, or other Additional Charges may be added to your order.
  • These charges will be displayed during checkout and reflected in your Order Acknowledgment.
  • The final amount may be updated in your Order Confirmation and Invoice.

10.     Discountsand Promotions

10.1 Promotions and Offers

  • From time to time, 3Scents may make special promotions or offers through our Online Shop, physical stores, or other sales channels.
  • Each promotion will be subjected to its own terms and conditions.
  • To benefit from a particular offer, please make your purchase through the designated sales channel.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged on the basis of price differences or promotional variation between channels.

10.2 Terms of Discounts

  • All discounts and promotions offered by 3Scents are subject to the specific terms and conditions applicable to each offer.
  • Unless otherwise stated, the following items will not be counted toward minimum spending thresholds or other eligibility requirements:
    • Delivery fees
    • personalization services
    • Labour charges
    • Giftwrapping fees
    • Other additional charges
  • Decisions made by 3Scents regarding application of promotions shall be final.
  • Certain discounts or promotions may not be combined with other offers, including those provided by third parties.

11.     Promotional Codes

11.1

From time to time, 3Scents may issue promotional codes (“Promo Codes”) or discount vouchers for use on the 3Scents Online Shop.  These may provide benefits such as free shipping, bundle discounts, or item‑specific savings.

  • Enter your code at checkout — late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Paper coupons (including cash coupons, birthday coupons, gift coupons, or redemption vouchers) are not valid online unless stated otherwise.

11.2
Unless specified differently, a Promo Code:

  • Applies only to the order it was issued for (not combined orders).
  • Is valid only if provided directly by 3Scents through official channels.
  • Must be used by the account holder it was given to, for its intended purpose, and in a lawful way.
  • May not be copied, sold, shared, or transferred unless we allow it.
  • May be disabled at any time, with or without notice, and without liability.
  • Must be used in line with applicable terms and conditions.
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash, gift cards, or cash equivalents.
  • Will not be refunded, reissued, or reactivated if the product(s) purchased with it are later returned.
  • Cannot be applied if the qualifying purchase amount is less than the discount value, and may be subject to minimum spend requirements.
  • Will not be replaced if accidentally used or expired.
  • Cannot be combined with other offers or codes.

11.3
You are responsible for keeping your Promo Codes safe and using them properly.

12.     Form of Payments

12.1
We accept payment by debit cards, credit cards, stored‑value cards, and other methods shown at checkout.

  • Cheques, and paper‑based 3Scents coupons (such as cash coupons, gift coupons, or redemption vouchers) are not accepted.
  • By providing a card or payment method, you confirm you are authorized to use it.

12.2
All payments are processed securely by our payment gateway partners.

  • Their terms and conditions apply, and are outside our control.
  • You may be asked to complete security checks before your payment is approved, and you are responsible for meeting those requirements.
  • You must ensure your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds or credit at the time of purchase.
  • Any issues relating to authorization, processing, or security are the responsibility of the respective payment gateway or the customer’s financial institution.

12.3

3Scents shall not be liable for any loss, delay, or error arising from the operation of thirdparty payment gateways or from the customer’s use of their chosen payment method. 

Delivery Method

13. Delivery Method

13.1 Delivery in HongKong
For local orders, each product page will show the available delivery method(s), which may include:

  • Standard Delivery or Self‑Pickup Point
  • Store Pickup

Only one delivery method can be used per order.  Delivery method cannot be changed after payment.

13.2 Delivery Partners

Order will be handled by our courier partners.  Delivery may be made directly to your address (Standard Delivery) or to a designated pickup point/locker (Self Pickup).  Different courier partners may be appointed from time to time.

13.3 Order Processing

We strive to process your orders within 3 business days after payment is received.  As many of our products are handcrafted, additional time may be required.  Delivery time depends on your location and the chosen shipping method.  Please ensure that your delivery address is accurate during checkout to avoid delays.

13.4  Delivery fees

These are automatically calculated based on the chosen method of delivery and address.  Should you have any query, kindly enquire with us prior to placing your order. 

13.5 Delivery time
Delivery terms are set by our courier partners.  To our best understanding, once your order is confirmed, delivery to residential or commercial addresses in Hong Kong usually takes 2–4 business days.   This is an estimate only.  Actual timing depends on courier service terms and pickup point/locker availability.

13.6 Delivery Notifications
Delivery dates and times are set by our courier partners and cannot be selected in advance.  Couriers will notify you by SMS or phonecall.  Please provide a valid mobile number when ordering.

13.7 Responsibility for Delivery
We engage third party couriers for shipping and will not be responsible for lost or damaged.  However, we will assist you inliaising with the relevant courier company.  Please note that this delivery policy is for reference only, and specific details may vary depending on the region and actual circumstances.  For assistance, please contact our customer service team.

13.8 Delivery overseas

We can arrange for worldwide shipping.   However, certain products are subject to shipping restriction.  Please enquire with us before purchase.

13.9  Decisions made by 3Scents regarding delivery services, arrangements and disputes are final.

13.10  3Scents does not itself operate a delivery business and therefore act as liaison in arranging delivery.  All deliveries are carried out pursuant to the terms and conditions of our delivery partner.  By completing checkout and receiving an Order Confirmation, you are deemed to have accepted the delivery partner’s terms and conditions.

13.11  If you fail to accept delivery for any reason, 3Scents may, at its discretion, charge additional fees or cancel your order without refund or compensation.

13.12  3Scents reserves the right to amend the minimum spending requirement for free delivery from time to time.

13.13  Once the product has been despatch for delivery to you, it will be held at your own risk.  3Scents shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the product(s) after the risk has passed to you upon delivery.

14.     Store Pickup Method

·        You can choose to pick up your order at ourstore by booking an appointment.

·        There’s no delivery fee for store pickup, and you can collect during our opening hours with prior appointment.

·        Once your order is ready, we’ll notify you by email or SMS.  Please bring this notification when collecting your order.

·        You’ll have 30 days to pick up your order after we notify you.

·        If you don’t collect within 30 days, we may need to cancel your order, deduct fees, and/or—if the items are perishable—dispose of them without refund.

·        You or someone you authorize can collect the order.  Just show the notification and sign to confirm receipt.  We’ll also send you a confirmation message once the pickup is complete.

Exchange and Return

15.     Exchange

3Scents accept product exchange only in cases of quality issues or discrepancy between items ordered and those delivered.  Customers must notify us of such issued within 7 days of purchase.

16.     Return and Order Cancellations

16.1 Order Cancellation

After we confirm your order, it’s final.  It is a binding agreement and cannot be cancelled unless the law requires otherwise.

16.2 Returns
Due to nature of our products, returns are generally not accepted unless the item is defective.  If we make an exception and approve a return or cancellation:

  • Any discounts, benefits, rewards or entitlements will be deducted from the refund.
  • Refunds will be issued as store credit only, for use on future purchases.
  • You are responsible for all logistics charges related to the return.
  • Any gifts or redemption items included with the order must be returned.

16.3
If our product is returned due to defect:

  • The net purchase amount for the affected products will be refunded in form of credits.
  • Discounts or free delivery you received will remain valid.
  • 3Scents benefits or rewards will be deducted based on the refund amount.
  • Customers must notify 3Scents of defect with in 7 days of purchase otherwise the customer is deemed to have accepted the condition of the product.
  • Products could only be returned once.

16.4
Used Promo Codes will not be reissued, reactivated, or refunded.

16.5

Due to the inherent characteristics of product materials, natural variations may occur.  Such variations, including differences between the actual product and any exhibits, samples, or photographs, shall not be deemed defects and shall not give rise to any right of return or claim.

16.6 Refund

  • All refunds shall be given as store credit for future purchases at the 3Scents Online Shop.
  • Cash refunds are possible only if transaction or payment gateway fees are deducted.
  • 3Scents retains the right to make the final determination on refund eligibility and method, acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.

  a.      “User‑Generated Content” means anything you upload or share with us (like text, photos, or videos).  
  b.      You are responsible for making sure your content is accurate, lawful, and safe.   
  c.      Content must not contain harmful software or offensive/illegal material.    
  d.      3Scents do not take responsibility for what you or other users upload.      
  e.      Should we be made aware of a breach of the foregoing warranties and representations, we may remove or modify any of such User Generated Content at our discretion with or without notice.
   f.       By submitting User Generated Contenton our 3Scents Online Shop, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, display and otherwise use them inconnection with the 3Scents Online Shop.
   g.      Any User Generated Content published in the public area of 3Scents Online Shop by you shall be deemed to be non-confidential and non-proprietary.

21.     Young Users

         We reserve all the rights in refusing to supply any of our products on 3Scents Online Shop which we consider, in our sole judgement, not suitable for a Young User.

22.     Parental Guidance

We will always do our best to make your experience with the 3Scents Online Shop positive.  However, there are some limits to what we can take responsibility for.  To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses or damages that may arise from things like:

  • The 3Scents Online Shop (or parts of it), products, or services being unavailable.
  • Delays, interruptions, or failures in providing products or services.
  • Products not meeting every expectation or purpose.
  • Incorrect or misleading information about our shop, products, or services.
  • Any other circumstances where the law allows us to limit responsibility.

25.     Third-party Rights

These Conditions are just between you and us—no third party gets rights or benefits from them.  No third party will be conferred any benefit or any right to enforce these terms pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623).

26.     Governing Law

Our sales and services follow Hong Kong SAR law, and any disputes will be handled only by Hong Kong SAR courts.

27.     Interpretations

Here’s how to read these Terms:

  • Words in the singular also cover the plural, and vice versa, if the context makes sense.
  • References to one gender apply to all genders, where relevant.
  • “Person” can mean an individual, company, firm, group (incorporated or not), or public body.
  • When we say “include” or “including,” it’s meant broadly—not limited to the examples that follow.
  • Any mention of time refers to Hong Kong time.
  • Section headings and numbering are there to help you navigate—they don’t change the meaning of the Terms.
