Song of Songs

“The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell.  Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away!”

Song of Songs contains not only the divine romance but also the fragrance of paradise garden.  Fig is a fruit that appears repeatedly in the scriptures, adding the scents of rhubarb and rosemary, it gives an aroma of sweet and evergreen herbs in the everlasting love of God. 

Dear Abba Father,

Thank You for calling us Your beloved and inviting us into the tenderness of Your love.  Teach us to rest in the truth that we are Your beautiful bride —cherished, pursued, protected and deeply connected.  Draw our hearts closer to Yours each day, and let Your love shape every part of who we are.

In Your holy name we pray,
